Constantine the Great

For those of you who don't know, my newest son has a very strong first name. Constantine is the name of a former Roman Emperor. However, we have not been able to stray from calling him "Itty Bitty." We also refer to him as lizard, monkey, grunter, and squawking chicken.

The original idea was to call him C.J., Constantine being to difficult for people to remember or pronounce (?-I don't get it), but we can't seem to get away from Itty Bitty. I'm just hoping the name will drop before he is of school age. I just think that for now, if I called him anything else, no one would know who I was talking about! So, for now Itty Bitty grunter lizard monkey squawking chicken will have to do.

Welcome to My Blog

We had breakfast/lunch today with CraigMary, Burton, Barbara, Allison and John (by "we" I mean myself and my children). At the end of breakfast I mentioned that I enjoyed reading everyone's blogs so much and that Craig should start writing one, in-turn he stated that it is I who should start blogging "The Baby Chronicles," but I decided on the "The Baby Blog." Collin made fun of me and said that my entries would include such passages as "I sat down...." I guess he thinks my life is rather dull!
Well, I am going to do my best to keep up on this blog, it could prove to be fun. My husband, Nicholas, has been encouraging me to to blog for a while. He says that I have a lot say, I think that's his polite way of saying that I bitch about a lot of things!
This will definitely be challenging with a demanding 8 week old, but it never hurts to try. So, happy reading to all who wish to follow!
